A Few Holiday Outfits

1. Vest - H&M / Shorts - Primark

2. Vest - Topshop / Shorts - Miss Selfridge (Christmas sale) / Sandals - Primark

3. Playsuit - H&M (Last summer) / Sandals - Primark

These are just a few of my night time outfits I wore while I was away on holiday. I went to Magaluf a few weeks ago now on a girly holiday. The weather was gorgeous and hot, but it did get quite chilly and windy at night. I didn't take anything too over the top and basically just lived in shorts and vests/crop tops at night, with the occasional dress or playsuit. I didn't buy anything too expensive as I knew it was more than likely going to get ruined from the crazy drinking nights out... kinda! Doing this post is giving me major holiday blues, good job I have another in the pipe line! Yay!

What are your favourite outfits to wear when you're on holiday?

Green Envee Organics

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Green Envee Organics and they asked if I would be interested in trying and reviewing some of their products. I have to admit I hadn't heard of their company before, so I was very interested in learning more and obviously trying some of their products. They are an American-based company who specialise in organic products that promote and specialise in aromatherapy, homoeopathic and spiritual products.

I wanted the products to be a total surprise, so gave them free choice of what they wanted to send me... and I definitely was not disappointed! I firstly received their lovely little note to me wishing me happy birthday, which was such a nice touch. The products were packaged so nicely too, which always impresses me. I'd like to say all the products were sample sized, but with three products they went up and above, and it looks like I got full sized goodies to try - amazing!

I received all the big products in 'Brazilian Orange & Litsea' - which sounds amazing before I've even smelt/sampled them. I got sent a bar soap, body lotion and aroma mist in that, then different small sachets. These included: 'Tunisian Rosemary & Peppermint', 'French Lavender & Chamomile' and 'Indonesian Patchouli & Orange.' You have to admit, they all sound absolutely gorgeous just from reading the names!

Now for the smaller samples...I received a body scrub, body oil, body lotion and body wash, each one in a different flavour. What I loved about these is that each product comes with an information card, which fully explains the description, instructions on how to use them and finally a low-down on the ingredients. I've never seen this used with samples before and it was so handy to have and actually quite nice to read.

I can't wait to start trying out all these lovely products, as I've only had a spritz of the aroma mist yet. I know I'm going to absolutely love everything labelled 'Brazilian Orange & Litsea' - judging from the aroma mist, the scent is to DIE for! Yum! Keep your eyes pealed for more little posts about these products bloggers, I'm so excited to start trying.

Have you ever tried any Green Envee Organics products before? Which are your favourite?

BeTrousse Beauty Box 2 - Product Reviews

Fair Naturally Mango & Safflower Moisturiser - £3.99 (*)
Jason Normalising Shampoo - £7.29 (*)
Make Believe Beauty Shimmer Lip Gloss - £10.00 (*)

It has literally taken me SO long to get back into blogging with everything that I've had going on, but I'm back and ready to show you guys everything I've been up to! I literally received this BeTrousse box in April, and have just got round to writing a review of some of the products, so I apologise massively.

These are the only three products that I've had chance to try properly, and all in all I was really impressed. This is my second box and I'm just as impressed with the amazing full sized products, its literally one of my favourite every beauty boxes. I'll start by saying that the Fair Naturally Mango & Safflower Moisturiser is THE best smelling thing ever! I love the smell of Mango so this was a winner straight away, not to mention it actually leaves your skin feeling so soft. I used it while I was on holiday and was so impressed, thank god I've got a bit left to carry on using.

I was really impressed with the Jason Normalising Shampoo too. I don't usually try a huge amount of hair products, as I kind of know what works for me. I decided to brave this shampoo for a few tries and really loved it. I found that if I used too much it did make my hair feel really stiff, so just be wary on the amount you do use. When I finally got the proportions right, my hair was so shiny after and I actually got compliments from people asking if I had dyed my hair... which is always a bonus is my books!

The third product I tried out from the box was the Make Believe Beauty Shimmer Lip Gloss. I'm not a massive fan of lip gloss and I only tend to wear it on the odd occasion. This gloss was a really lovely pale pinky peach colour with a little bit of sparkle, which I have to admit I wasn't really fond of. It felt quite sticky when I applied it at first, but that soon faded and I liked it. I'm going to keep it in my bag and keep trying it, I just wish it wasn't so glittery.

Yet again BeTrousse has exceeded my expectations and I am so impressed! I actually love their boxes and I'm definitely going to catch up on the rest of the products and try them out, so watch this space bloggers!

Have you tried any of the BeTrousse boxes before? Which is your favourite?

My 22nd Birthday, better late than never!

Dress - Miss Selfridge

So my 22nd birthday was literally three weeks ago, and since I've dropped off the blogging network it seems like I have a lot to blog about. This is just a little post to mainly show what I wore out for my birthday and a few of the best snaps from the night. The day before my best friend surprised me with an amazing Spa morning at the Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest. I'd never been before and it was so amazing to literally relax in steam rooms, outdoor pools and jacuzzi's all morning before having a big night out.

I was feeling majorly old from turning 22 but you can always count on friends to cheer you up. The song '22' by Taylor Swift was a very fitting theme tune for that night, which the girls persisted to request in EVERY single place we went. Somehow, I felt less old dancing around to Taylor Swift...

Long Time No See..

Hey bloggers,

I literally haven't blogged in over a month, so please forgive me. The past month or two has been literally a crazy roller-coaster of ups and downs, but I'm back smiling and ready to get back on with my blogging. I have so much to catch up on and so much to tell you guys about, so keep your eyes pealed in the next week or two. There will be lots and lots of postings coming your way about the last month, as I've literally done so much.

It was my 22nd birthday on Friday, so I have lots to blog about surrounding that. I've also returned with a clear head and I can't wait to get back into writing posts again. Its so weird how much you miss doing something.

So yeah, I'm back and rearing to go :) Let me know if there's anything you would like to see on here in the next few weeks.

The Body Shop // Born Lippy and Mango Beautifying Oil

Last week I was contacted by a lovely lady from The Body Shop to see if I would be interested in trying a few of their products. I've loved The Body Shop for years now so obviously I said yes! I was given the option of choosing what I wanted to try, but I decided to let them surprise me... and thankfully it was a good one. I received an amazing Strawberry 'Born Lippy' lip balm and a Mango Beautifying Oil that I cannot wait to try properly.

Anything remotely strawberry flavoured from The Body Shop is to die for, so I was so happy when I received this lip balm. It smells AMAZING and I could literally eat it every time I open the pot. The Beautifying Oil doesn't really seem to have a strong smell and to be honest I've never heard of this product before, so it will hopefully be a nice new experience. The product is said to 'Moisturise, smooth and illuminate' your hair and skin, which sounds very interesting.

I'll definitely do a review of both of the products when I've had chance to try them properly, but I'm so thankful to The Body Shop for giving me the opportunity to try these lovely products.

Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion

Now the sun has decided to actually show its face for the odd day or so, I've decided that my pale body could do with a good coat of colour. I am trying to stay off the sunbeds at the minute, and I really really hate spray tans, so I decided to opt for a gradual tanning moisturiser yet again. I've literally tried them ALL these past few years and I can honestly say I haven't really found one that I've been 100% happy with.

For one, most of them smell disgusting and I can literally smell it on my skin ALL DAY! This leads me to believe that other people can obviously smell it too, which slightly worries me. As well as that I find that a lot of them leave awful streaks or orangey patches on your skin, which trust me is not attractive when you're trying to pull off a tan. Well, I think I may have found the ultimate gradual tanning moisturiser that fits all my needs... Garnier Summerbody!

The moisturiser itself is white and there is no actual colour to it, which with the others isn't the case. I really do think this is a key factor in it not streaking or patching on my legs. An absolutely massive plus is that the moisturiser actually smells really nice! There is a slight smell but to me its nothing that is overpowering or would worry me about other people smelling it. The Dove Summer Glow product, for example, has the most awful odour and this is primarily the one that I could constantly smell when I used it. I've used this Garnier moisturiser a few times now and up to yet I am so impressed. It is also an amazing moisturiser and even after using it once my skin felt so soft and in such good condition.

I am going to do a little trial over the next few weeks with this product and track the progress of my 'gradual tan.' I'll do a little update every week and experiment with how tanned I end up! Hopefully this will stop me using the sun beds as an aid to my base tan before I leave for my holiday in June. Fingers crossed!

Do you use gradual tanning moisturisers? Which brand is your favourite?

BeTrousse Beauty Box Number Two.

Back in February I received an email from the lovely Christelle at BeTrousse to see if I would be interested in sampling one of their beauty boxes. When the box arrived I was so impressed and I absolutely loved it! (You can read my thoughts here.) A few days ago I received a mystery parcel through the post, and to my surprise it was another of their boxes! This time I received their latest 'Glitz and Glamour' box and I was so happy to have the chance to try out some more products.

Yet again I received five full sized samples ranging from moisturisers to a lip gloss. Yet again BeTrousse have amazed me with their amazing creativity with this box, not to mention the fact that all the products are full sized. That's definitely my favourite bit! The box is on sale for £10.00 instead of the combined price of £70.00, which is a massive 86% saving. I always have amazing service with this company and every time I receive another box, I seem to be even more impressed than before.

In this box I received:
Benta Berry Facial Cleanser
Make Believe Beauty Shimmer Lip Gloss
Fair Naturally Mango & Safflower Body Moisturiser
Tulecos Tonifying Oil
Jason Normalising Shampoo

As I've already said, I cannot say anything but good things about BeTrousse and I'm so thankful that they have chosen to send me another box to try. I will be doing reviews of all these products as I use them, so keep your eyes pealed bloggers.

What products catch your eye?

MUA Undress Me Too Eyeshadow Palette

From left to right:
Corrupt, Obsessed, Wink, Reveal, Exposed, Tranquil, Dreamy, Lavish,
Fiery, Shy, Devotion, Naked.

I've been trying to get my hands on this palette for weeks and weeks, so I was so happy that my local Superdrug had it in stock last week. I'm a massive fan of MUA eyeshadow palettes and Undressed is my absolute favourite, so I was so excited to see this new version. I really do like the packaging of MUA's palettes but it was a nice change to see something in white, instead of the usual black and dark colours. I also love how they give a little tutorial on the back of the palette to try out, I think its cute a cute and clever idea.

The colours are quite similar to those in the Undressed palette, but I find these seems to be a little more neutral. A lot seem to have a shimmer to them too, which I didn't think I would like but have surprisingly warmed to. I've used this a few times now and I absolutely love it! I really don't think you can complain with the price of MUA products and it was a massive bonus that Undress Me Too was actually on offer for £4. What a bargain.

I'm going to have a play around with the colours and I'll maybe do a blog post on some of the different looks you can create. If anyone has a tutorial using this palette I'd love to see it, so feel free to add your links in a comment.

Instagram Update

The Script ticket / The Script / Pre-gig / One a day journal / Can't wait to be this tanned / Healthy Snack/ The yummiest dinner / Beautiful Pandora Ring / Make-up brush cleaning.

Nothing to really report to you I'm afraid bloggers, as usual I've been working loads and haven't really had the time to do much. The countdown to my girly holiday has started, 99 days if anyone would like to know!, so the healthy eating and exercise regime has really kicked in. I'm thinking of doing a few posts on this topic, is that something people would be interested in? Let me know in the comments.

I went to see The Script last night in Sheffield and they were absolutely AMAZING! The Irish accents were an absolute bonus too, me and my cousin turned to mush as soon as they started singing. Definitely rekindled my love. Its the first time in absolutely agers that my throat hurt this morning from singing too much... thats definitely the sign of a good night!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - £3.99

Powder is something I always used to use, but for one reason or another I stopped and gave up with. I'm not quite sure why, I just stopped using it altogether. A few weeks ago after watching a few make-up tutorials I decided it was about time I invested in some more. I was slightly influences by Tanya Burr's make-up tutorials and blog after reading that she recommended the Rimmel powder, so I decided it was definitely worth a try. I decided to pick up 003 - Peach Glow, just for the simple fact that I didn't want to look like a ghost when I'd applied it.

I apply it all over my face after I've finished my make-up application, and I find that it helps to set my make-up and keep it in place. I also find that it does stop my face from going shiny and its lovely and light and very easy to apply. I use my mini Eco Tools powder brush to apply it and usually carry it in my bag, just in case I re-apply my foundation throughout the day. I do really like this product and I'm so glad I finally invested in a powder, as I can really tell a difference after I've applied my make-up. It takes off the cakey-ness and really helps to set my foundation. I'd definitely recommend this, and at £3.99 its a total bargain!

Do you use a powder? What is your favourite?

I'm Loving: A Missguided Midi Dress

1 / 2 / 34 / 5

Midi dresses are my absolute favourite trend at the minute, I really cannot get enough of them. I think they are the perfect versatile dress that can be worn in the day time, as well as dressed up for a night out. I know I myself love to do this exact idea, and I think they particularly look amazing and so nice dressed up. I first started seeing these kinds of dresses in Topshop a few months ago, but there was no way I was paying their prices. Missguided is definitely my one-stop place to go for dresses for months now, purely for their price and amazing styles. They have so much to choose from and I can guarantee there is something for everyone.

I actually have the the fifth dress in my line-up in a dark grey colour and it is the comfiest thing I own! Perfect for the day but is really easy to dress up at night. I literally cannot stop buying these dresses.
