Long Time No See..

I literally haven't blogged in over a month, so please forgive me. The past month or two has been literally a crazy roller-coaster of ups and downs, but I'm back smiling and ready to get back on with my blogging. I have so much to catch up on and so much to tell you guys about, so keep your eyes pealed in the next week or two. There will be lots and lots of postings coming your way about the last month, as I've literally done so much.

It was my 22nd birthday on Friday, so I have lots to blog about surrounding that. I've also returned with a clear head and I can't wait to get back into writing posts again. Its so weird how much you miss doing something.

So yeah, I'm back and rearing to go :) Let me know if there's anything you would like to see on here in the next few weeks.

Nothing to really report to you I'm afraid bloggers, as usual I've been working loads and haven't really had the time to do much. The countdown to my girly holiday has started, 99 days if anyone would like to know!, so the healthy eating and exercise regime has really kicked in. I'm thinking of doing a few posts on this topic, is that something people would be interested in? Let me know in the comments.

I went to see The Script last night in Sheffield and they were absolutely AMAZING! The Irish accents were an absolute bonus too, me and my cousin turned to mush as soon as they started singing. Definitely rekindled my love. Its the first time in absolutely agers that my throat hurt this morning from singing too much... thats definitely the sign of a good night!

I haven't done one of these Instagram posts in a while guys, so I have quite a lot to show you all. Its been a good few weeks and quite a lot has happened in the past few weeks, its been a busy one. I went to see Rita Ora in Sheffield, which was absolutely amazing - she's gorgeous and my favourite! I also got taken to see the X-Factor tour by my boyfriend's mum, which was so fun! All the acts were really good and it was such a laugh. Me and my boyfriend headed down to London for Valentines day and stayed in a gorgeous boutique hotel, then visited The Warner Bros Studio Tour. This was by far my favourite thing, even though I never considered myself a huge Harry Potter fan it was absolutely amazing!

Apart from that I've pretty much been working, and my new found hobby - exercising! I have never exercised much in my life but I decided to take up Zumba, and it has made such a difference to me. I'm eating healthy too and at the moment I feel amazing. I also got my big foot tattoo re-coloured, ouch! The artist Danni is absolutely amazing, you can check out her work here. Apart from that, I've had lots of cuddles with two beautiful bald cats! My best friend was two Sphynx cats and I absolutely adore them, as you can see in the bottom row of my photos.

Just another little update guys as I haven't actually got a lot to tell you about at the minute. The snow has finally gone, thank god! I hate the cold and its been awful trying to get around in my little car in the snow, I'm glad its finally on its way out. Me and the girls have finally booked our summer holiday to Magaluf and I'm super excited! I need some sun and a tan in my life. I've been working like a mad woman so the only thing I've really done if have a night out for the last three Saturdays with the girls... I don't know what's wrong with me going out all the time. Its mega spending time from now as I have a lot to pay for, but there's so much I want. I have a huge list of new make up I want to try, its going to be so hard to budget.

I haven't done an Instagram update in a while, I've decided to make it a regular thing. I know its only Tuesday but I thought I'd show you all a bit of my life from the past two or three weeks. I've been working loads since Christmas and I'm only just starting to have time to myself. As you can see, where I live has been hit by the snow! I hate it for driving and just the cold in general, but I have to admit its so pretty. I've got so many exciting things to plan too, which I've finally started thinking about. I'm going to make sure this year is the best!

A Mini Christmas Catch-up

Wow, Christmas has been so busy that I literally haven't had any time to blog or really do anything. All I've done since Christmas Eve is work work work, apart from my day off on Christmas Day. Retail is crazy this time of year so my life seems to have been taken over my Matalan. In between that I've had time to see my family and catch up with them, which is definitely my most favourite thing about Christmas time. I'm a really family orientated person and I don't think there isn't a day where I don't see one member of my family (minus my parent and brother, obviously) I've also had a bit of time to hit the sales for a few hours, but to be honest I really didn't see anything that caught my eye. I'm planning a few more trips this coming week so hopefully I'll have some buys to show you.

This is just a little quick update, I'll be doing a post about my Christmas and some of the presents I received. I decided to just show you all a few things I got anyway, seeing as that seems to be the thing to do. I've had such a lovely Christmas so far and I'm very much looking forward to the New Year.

The Christmas Tag

1. What is your favourite thing about christmas ?

I think my most favourite thing about Christmas and the whole period in general is getting to see all my family loads, and them actually all being together. 

2. What is your favourite make up look for festive the season?

 I don't really have a favourite I guess. I love big black lashes and maybe a red/plum coloured lipstick for a party look? I'm definitely determined to have a smoky eye at least once!

3. Real tree or fake tree?

I absolutely love real trees so much! They look absolutely gorgeous and there's nothing better than the smell of a real Christmas tree. At home we do have a fake one, just because of the space mainly, but I know my Mum would love to have a real one.

4. Giving presents or receiving presents?

I love the whole shopping for presents process, and the wrapping, and the giving... I just love everything about it :)) But then again I do love getting presents too, like everyone, so both?

5. Do you open presents christmas morning or eve / evening

Always open presents on Christmas morning. We go to my Nan's for dinner so on the way we always call at my other relatives and open our presents there too. When I was younger I used to open my presents from my great Nan and her family on christmas eve when I went to visit, but seeing as I usually end up working I don't get the time to anymore :(

6. Handmade christmas cards or bought?

I love handmade cards but unfortunately I'm not really the most crafty person around, so I usually just end up  buying nice cards. Saying that I only buy them for my close family though, I don't tend to send a lot now.

7. What is your favourite christmas film?

I know it'll probably be the same as everyone else's, but I absolutely love Elf. It makes me so happy every time I watch it and its one of those films I could watch over and over again. I've actually just bought it on DVD too, so that'll definitely be happening in the run up to Christmas.

8. What's your favourite christmas food?

I've never ever been a massive fan of the whole roast dinner thing, but Christmas is the only time I actually look forward to it. For some reason cheese and crackers always reminds me of Christmas time, so I tend to stuff my face with those for days around this time.

9. What's your favourite christmas song?

I don't really have a favourite, but I do really love WHAM's Last Christmas. Working at Matalan you kind of get sick of listening to Christmas songs as they play them constantly from about November-January.

10. What's your favourite christmas memory?

Again I don't really have a favourite memory as such, I guess its more of a favourite tradition that used to happen. On Christmas morning we could always drag our huge Santa sacks into my Mum and Dad's bedroom, then sit on the bed and open them all. They'de be sat in bed with a cup of coffee, while me and my brother would cover the whole bed in wrapping paper. Then we'de take all our presents downstairs and lay them out in the dining room and they wouldn't move for days.

Instagram Update

I haven't done one of these little Instagram catchups in a while, so what better to do on this horrible Monday morning? I haven't been using Instagram loads because I've been on holiday and busy with work, so my photo's aren't that interesting yet. These are from the past week where I've mostly worked and chilled out after because I've been absolutely exhausted. The weather today is so awful and its making me want to slob in my pjs all day, but I have work at four, boo. 

A Little Weekly Update

I've been quite bad and not blogged a lot recently, and to be honest I don't really have a good enough reason for it. Except maybe work, does that count as a reason?! My little eight hour weekend job has blossomed into a 30 hour a week job, so more money for me but less time to do other things.

In recent news, I bought a new car! As you can see above it is a beaut, and I feel so so happy that I actually bought it with my own money. I've been saving for a little bit now and seeing as my old trusty Corsa was becoming not-so trusty, I thought it was time to upgrade. Its like anything new though, I just need to get the hang of driving it and stop over-reving everywhere I go. I've been passed three years now and these past few days I've felt like a first time driver again. I also realised how nasty some people can be on the road, I get so annoyed when driving. Anyway...

So the week ahead consists of more work, and hopefully a lot more blogging and social time with my friends. I haven't been out to do something in what seems agers, and its pay day on Tuesday, so what more of an excuse do I need?! Hopefully there will be lots of blog posts coming your way this week!
