Journal / Please Me / Viva Glam Nicki / Black Dress / Aztec Dress

Why is it that when I have money, I never see anything I like... but when I have money and need to save, there's so much I want to buy. Its killing me! I have a holiday to pay for at the end of March and I thought I'd get an early start on saving, but its proving so difficult. In January my wages lasted me so long because there wasn't anything I wanted... but now I'm finding loads.

I've been longing for one of these dresses for so long, but every time I try one on I put myself off and end up walking out empty handed. I think they're such a wardrobe staple, just for the fact that they can be worn casual or dresses up for a night out. I really do think I need one now - the Aztec one is gorgeous but of course Topshop do not have my size online... story of my life!

The Pony Brown journal and the MAC lipsticks are things that I'd really like at the minute. The journal is actually the cutest thing ever and I really think I need it in my life. I've been looking at it for a while but the only thing that puts me off is the price. I guess the fact its from Korea kind of does too, but this journal has been on my eBay watch list for about a month. I'm probably the only blogger who doesn't own a MAC lipstick, so I think its time I sort my life out and invest. I love 'Please Me' and I definitely think its the one I'm going to buy, but the Viva Glam Nicki colour is gorgeous too.

Real Techniques Core Collection and Stippling Brushes

I know that all Real Techniques brushes are kind of famous in the blogging world, as I don't think there's a day goes by where I don't see them mentioned in a post. I have to say I've never really been interested in make-up brushes.. I just used to use any old brush to apply my foundation and other make-up. Since I've been blogging my eyes have almost been opened to how important your brushes are to your make-up routine, so I decided to try out the EcoTools brushes. Now I do love them and everything, but I cannot help but really want these Real Technique brushes to try.

I've done my bit of research and I think these five brushes would be there best for me, not to mention the brushes I'd probably use the most. Another thing to add to my Christmas list of three items up to yet... I need to get a move on!

Daily Want #7

Tartan and Dogtooth Bodycon Dress - £35.00

Believe it or not, my best friend's mum wore this dress out last night and I absolutely LOVE it! She came in modelling it for us and I instantly said that I needed this dress in my life. Bodycon dresses have always been a favourite of mine and to be honest I only own a Peplum one at the minute, so what more of an excuse do I need? Tartan and Dogtooth are two massive prints this Autumn and I would never have thought of putting them together, but weirdly I absolutely love it. At £35 from River Island of all places I don't think anyone can complain. This may have to be a little mid-week treat for myself... I can just imagine what my Mum's going to say about my compulsive dress-buying at the minute.

Models Own Wonderland Set - £20

I've loved Models Own for so long now, ever since my lovely freebies at the Clothes Show Live last year. I only tend to buy them when they're on sale though, or when I really want to treat myself (or my nails.) This set looks absolutely perfect for Christmas, it looks really icy and cute! I can just see my nails painted in these for all the parties and family get-togethers I seem to have over Christmas.

H&M Dress - £29.99

I haven't done a daily want in a while, mainly because I haven't really been shopping a lot or buying much since I got back from Lanzarote. I think I've only bought a few things for myself, which is really not like me. I decided to have a little window browse this morning while I have some free time before work, and to also look for little treats for myself. I have a love-hate relationship with H&M because some times there is absolutely loads I want, then a few weeks later there seems to be absolutely nothing I like. It's very hit and miss in my opinion.

Saying this, I decided to have a little look anyway and this dress instantly caught my eye. I think it was more the colour than anything else just because there isn't a lot of it about at the minute. I really like the cut of the dress too, but I can't help thinking it might be one of those things that looks lovely... until you try it on? I need a dress for my graduation in November and I'm really unsure if this is the right kind of thing, but I've decided that I really really want it. I always get a bit scared when I have to order something without trying it on, so maybe I'll keep my eyes pealed in the shops.

What do you think of this dress? Is it graduation-worthy?

Topshop Sleeveless Peplum Top - (£18.00)

I've been uming and awing about the Peplum style for quite a while now, as I never really thought it would suit me and my body shape. I saw this little Topshop number last week in store and I was instantly drawn to it, which is unusual for me. I didn't know if it was the colour, as at the minute I'm loving the grey marl look, or the style... but I was still a bit unsure. Anyway, I didn't end up buying it and now I'm really kicking myself. I think I've caved in to the Peplum trend after seeing this top to be honest, its a jersey sort of material so it would be perfect to wear in the day as well as dress it up at night. I thought this colour would go perfect with my favourite jeans too - I'm going to definitely have to invest in this now.

What do you think about the Peplum style? Do you love it?

Foil Cross Tunic - Topshop (£20.00)

I have a little obsession with dresses and tunics at the minute... probably because I'm actually quite a nice colour at the minute. I'm always wanting to show my legs off, and at one time dresses really weren't my thing. I've gone from one to fifteen in a matter of months (blame holidays) but you can never have too many, right? I saw this in my local Topshop the other day and I loved it, I'm kind of kicking myself now for not buying it. I really think I need to start embracing the cross trend before it fades, so I figured this would be perfect. Its really slouchy t-shirt material so it would be perfect as a super comfy day outfit... I may have to nip back tomorrow and purchase this before all the size six's disappear. 

My Daily Want #3

Marc Jacobs Dot - £37- £63 (approx)

Marc Jacobs perfumes are my all time favourite brand and I've started up my own little collection over the past few months. They are all such summery fragrances and they really do last agers. I have two 50ml bottles of Lola and Oh Lola! and a huge 100ml bottle of Oh Lola! too! I'm going to try and collect them all.

Dot is the newest fragrance and it smells amazing! I had a little sample the other day and I had to tare myself away before I bought it and broke my bank. Again it is very floral (statement Marc J) and its one of those things where when you first smell it, you just have to keep smelling over and over again - its that nice. Prices range from about £37 on wards, which to be honest is my normal perfume budget anyway, so I'd say its pretty decent depending on what size you buy. Another great product from my all time favourite brand!

My Daily Want #2

HD Eye and Brow Palette - £19.50

Since I dyed my hair dark brown I've been darkening and filling in my eyebrows, for the pure fact that they're quite light and I think I look silly. In all honesty I have stopped doing it as much now, just because I tend to work early shifts and I can never be bothered to wake up early to do them. I've always longed for a HD Brows palette, just from the purely amazing reviews I've read, but I just haven't gotten round to buying one yet. From some research I think I would definitely buy the 'Vamp' shade, as I love dark eyebrows. Hopefully blogging about it will keep it on my mind and remind me to get one soon!

Black Studded Bag - £29.99 (H&M)

I was literally a click away from ordering this bag from H&M, I was hovering over the checkout button for a while deciding whether I need another bag. I have two Mulberrys which I hardly ever use anymore, and this would definitely take the focus away from them, but its so tempting! They also have it in a beige version on their website too which is also really nice, but I'm a sucker for black bags.
